How should I package my shipment?
Improper packaging may void the carrier's liability for damage, so it is very important to please package, crate or stack on pallets securely to prevent damage. Secure cartons to the pallets with banding and shrink-wrap, stretch-wrap or break away adhesive. Stack cartons squarely on the skid with no overhang. Make sure that the surface is flat; put labels on a very visible place.
What is the Bill of Lading (BOL)?
The Bill of Lading is a mandatory paperwork providing the carrier and driver with all pertinent information related to shipping costs and the merchandise. All parties involved should have a copy (buyer, seller and carrier). It is imperative that the BOL be given to the truck driver when he makes the pickup.
How far in advance do I need to schedule a pick up?
Depending on the time of booking in your time zone, we can try to arrange for same day pick up. Always call moveallfreight.com and ask the agent for special arrangements and urgent bookings. Window of 4 hours for pick up.
What happens if my shipment is not ready when the driver comes?
Most commonly, the driver will not wait. The driver will be dispatched for the following day which delays the service. You will be charged a fee if the carrier charges moveallfreight.com for the duplication of pick up.
Can I estimate the weight of the shipment?
If an inaccurate weight or class is used and a shipment is re-weighed or re-classed by the carrier, those costs will be passed to you. Re-weighing may also delay delivery.
Is my shipment insured?
The industry standard liability coverage offered by LTL carriers booked through moveallfreight.com is 10 cents per pound. Moveallfreight.com can help you with supplementary insurance through one of our associates.
What is the process of a claim?
Claims are handled directly between the shipper, consignee, and the carrier. Moveallfreight.com is not involved in the actual claim process and has no influence in the carriers claim decision. Claims with the carrier must be filed within 90 days of delivery. Our agents can coach you on filing a claim and provide the proper forms.
Are your rates final and certain?
Your shipping quote is based on the information provided to moveallfreight.com at the time of booking. Any changes or differences in weight, class, size or location can result in additional cost direct from the carrier. In order to guarantee your original shipping rate be sure to use the BOL form that was provided to you by moveallfreight.com

Do you provide international freight rates?
Yes, we can give you a rate based on the actual shipping information that you provide to us. Our rates are specific to service required for that shipment and may include rates for inland trucking, ocean or air rates additional port fees, handling charges, and sometimes insurance, (if requested). Custom, duty and taxes are not included in our international freight rates, international shipping fees are based on commodities, services, origin and destination specific requirements. Due to the dynamic and ever changing international trade rules “ball park” estimates will not be given.
Do you ship vehicles or oversize machinery?
Yes. For vehicles we need at least one week notice in advance to prepare the documents.
How much are custom duties and taxes?
There is no standard fee and they will vary accordingly; these fees and taxes are based on the country, commodity and the value of the shipment.
